On March 29, the Virginia Mu chapter hosted its third annual Balanced Man Scholarship Banquet on campus for Spring 2019. Over 70 applicants applied for the BMS this year and we are appreciative of all of the hard work and support of our brothers and alumni. Many hours went into advertising, kiosking, and interviewing our applicants.
From those 73 applicants, we narrowed it down to 16 finalists who we believed embodied our core beliefs of being a Balanced Man, both inside and outside the classroom. We hosted our banquet on campus and had a great turnout and wonderful speakers including our president Aidan Davis, our VP of recruitment Joey Dunleavey, and a wonderful keynote speech from our chapter counselor Zachary Pope.
Congratulations to our winners Arthur Riley Baisch, Tyler Tep, and Seth Usher. We are excited to continue recognizing Balanced Men on our campus and show them why SigEp strives to be a valued partner in higher education.
